I added these to the bottom of our pantry to fill a wide open space where we needed more storage options for smaller things. Size and functionality wise they are perfect for what I had in mind, however, the design left something to be desired. Each bin kept slipping off the bracket of the bin below and would eventually just be sitting inside each other. It was so frustrating. My quick fix was using twist-ties to make sure the bins didn’t move from side to side or front to back. Problem solved. Zip ties would work, possibly even small binder clips. The manufacturer could easily create small clips to send with the product for each tier. Other than than this issue, totally happy with the product!The baskets are sturdy and attractive however the bottom of the basket is too small and doesn't seat properly on the arms of the bottom basket when you stack the baskets. This results in the top basket always falling over.Originally purchased as I needed another rack for veggies and fruits but I didn’t want to lose more counter space. Racks are okay but I don’t like the stacking mechanism. I would have liked something more snug and secure.I typically do not write reviews the day I get an item, expecially not a half rated review. The base of the basket needs to be half to three quarter of an inch wider. As it sits, you can bump a basket and it will tilt in to the one below it. If these baskets were not so cheap, I would have given lower rating. Easiest fix was run some nylon twine snugly between the handles, which not only brings them closer, but supports the bottom if it slips. This is the simplest fix that was not easily seen.All i’m gonna say is i didn’t check the weight but the top can’t even hold 5 bananas steady without the basket falling through. not happy with this purchase :(I used S hooks to attach these to the underside of our metal wire rack, to hold snacks, and it works great.They didn't work for us. Smaller than expected openings when stacked and not as stable as we wanted. Returned.I use this product to store my potatoes and onions get them out of the plastic bag so they will not rot so fast
